Our Process to build custom pools!

CONSULTATION

Call to tell your ideas to our designers and seek out all the different possibilities for your project. We will listen carefully to your needs and wants while using our experience and knowledge to provide a design that is not only functional but has the style and feel that separates us from other builders.   We strive to make dream pools come true.

DESIGN POOL in 3D

We will design and generate an incredible 3-D computer generated rendering of what your pool and back yard will look like. This allows you to see what your new pool or spa will look like and give you a chance to make revisions and improvements if necessary.  Having a budget in mind, helps design a pool that fits your lifestyle.

BLUEPRINTS / PERMITS

Upon approval of your design, we move forward with the engineering of the blueprint drawings and the procurement of permit needed documents.  All plans are created to exact scale of your backyard and fully detail out all items requested in the pool project.

EXCAVATION

Working from the Design Plans we lay out markers on the proposed pool. This is also an ideal opportunity to see the outline of the actual size, shape and location of the pool, and make any changes before the excavation begins.

Once the layout is in place, the Excavation process begins. This includes removing grass, dirt and rock and preparing the dig site in the shape of the swimming pool for the next phase

STEEL REBAR

Once the excavation is complete, our team will start roughing the plumbing and  steel rebar will be laid and set in place by hand, forming the basic shape of your pool. All of the steel rebar is set using mechanical wrapping tools to ensure a solid base structure. As with all of our pools, no flex plumbing will be used, each pool has its own unique water hydraulic requirements.

SHOOT GUNITE

This is the stage where you really start to get a feel for the size of your new pool. Gunite, a combination of cement and sand, is mixed with water and shot onto the reinforced steel rods under super high pressure. This creates a tough inner shell. More layers of gunite are added, forming the pool’s durable structure.

TILE & COPING

Yes, you get to select your desired pool Tile and Coping.

Here is where it gets colorful and creative. Our experienced and highly-talented craftsmen will apply tile around the waterline, steps and spa.

As well, we upgrade all customers to their choice of Travertine Coping for no additional price.  We feel it is important to build our pools with only the very best of stone materials so that all our customers will enjoy a lifelong experience of trouble-free products.

PLUMBING

Plumbing is the most important facet when we build custom pools.  It is the main artery that pumps the life source to the pool itself.  All plumbing is at least 14 to 18 inches below ground level to ensure no freezing.  All plumbing is carefully inspected before any further stages can begin.

ELEVATION & DIRTWORK

We go the extra mile to ensure that dirtwork is properly addressed.  Elevation measurements are taken around the pool and backyard to guarantee that future rain or flooding will drain away from the pool.

TEXTURED CONCRETE DECKS

We build custom pools with many different concrete deck possibilities.  From multi-colored stamped textured concrete to pattern concrete to basic normal concrete.  Our goal is to provide options that best suit the customers lifestyle.

PLASTER / POOL FINISH

Plastering is the final step before adding the water. Applying the plaster requires a quick, experienced, hard-working team to smooth and blend the surface to assure a beautiful finish. Customers get to select their desired color and plaster type.  The pool is then filled with water.

STARTUP

There are a few things that need to be taken care of before anyone can jump in and enjoy the pool. Certain chemicals need to be balanced as well as your pool needs to clear of any plaster dust. Also, we do a thorough equipment inspection to make sure everything is working properly. And then it's time to jump on in!
